“the sun started to come out” Custom Framed Prints

Life as I knew it collapsed in sync with the onset of the pandemic, leaving me shocked, dazed and patting around to try and regain my bearings. I distinctly remember the day I decided to surrender my efforts to save what was crumbling and instead follow my irrational urge to spend whatever money I had on painting supplies. This wasn't the first time I’d racked up on supplies only to abandon my efforts after a few painting sessions. Every time I would sit down to paint, it seemed my every thought was a brutal condemnation of how it was going so far.  But, this time was different. Even though I hadn't even attempted to paint in years, I was noticeably better at it. I had grown in discipline, patience, and grace toward myself. For the first time, I was able to paint through the negative self-talk and complete what I’d started. I consider this one of many miracles in my life. After so many years of longing to express myself in this way, and after having given up on myself so many times - finally! the sun started to come out.
